Vine Weevil

The vine weevil was recently given the dubious distinction of no.1 garden pest in S.E England, and the rapid spread of this newly arrived alien species continues. Fortunately, there is a very good organic treatment available, which can be watered onto the soil in most months of the year and kills the grubs quickly. The grubs eat the roots of many plants, killing them completely, and the adults chew leaves, making unsightly holes.
